Volunteer Opportunities

Citizen Science Volunteer – Invasive Mussel Monitoring

​

We are seeking community members who own private docks on Kalamalka, Wood, Okanagan, Skaha, Vaseux, or Osoyoos lakes to help monitor for invasive mussels during the summer. Volunteers will receive two mussel monitors to have attached to their docks and be required to check them every two weeks.

Citizen Science Volunteer – Shoreline Surveys for Invasive Clams

 

We are seeking community members who are interested in conducting shoreline surveys for invasive clams on beaches at Osoyoos Lake. Positions will run during the summer to late fall.
